Elena Neirink began her career in interior design at the young age of 17 when, as a high school senior, she worked as a salesperson in the design showroom of the family business, Anna's Drapery Shop. This experience augmented her ever present interest in the world of fabric, fashion and design and she continued to work there while attending The Fashion Institute of America (FIA), where she excelled as a top student being one of a few chosen to represent her college in Washington, DC for "Hills Skills Day."

After graduation, Elena became a partner with her brother at Anna’s Drapery Shop. Now equipped with her educational background, work experience, and her natural talent, she began designing innovative window treatments and soon became the top producer in sales and client satisfaction within the company. In addition, her continued management of the design showroom led Anna's Drapery to expand its design services to include decorative accessories, carpet, and wall-coverings. Elena is unique in the design profession as she has experience in handling a client's needs from design to manufacture to install. Her years of sales and manufacturing experience also enable her to make decisions quickly and economically.

During this time, she also utilized her skills along with her interest in home improvement to renovate and sell homes. This included consultation with custom builders where she gained further experience in construction and design. Elena possesses a natural talent to come up with a fresh, stylized design suited perfectly for the client in mind.
